What is Dysautonomia?

Dysautonomia, (or Autonomic Dysfunction) is simply when a persons autonomic nervous system does not function properly.  The autonomic nervous system controls everything that your body does for you that you don't have to consciously think about !  That means when your autonomic nervous system doesn't work right, almost anything can go wrong! Kind of a scary thought isn't it?


Tachycardia (fast heart rate)
Bradycardia (slow heart rate)
Arrhythmia (irregular heart rhythm)
Low blood pressure
High blood pressure
Chest pain
Blood pooling
Flushing
Blotching
White patches
Hypovolemia (low blood volume)
Dizziness/Lightheadedness
